Conference Highlights

Our DC Conference is shaping up to be among our very best. WIth record attendance, here are some coming highlights:

  • We have an official from Ibermusicas, Maestro José Julio Diaz Infante, coming in from Mexico to do a short presentation at the banquet. He is also the National Coordinator of Music and Opera of Mexico. Infante will attend the entire conference.
  • Our CODA Admin of the Year award will be given
  • 3 great CODA orchestras, 2 world-class orchestras (Baltimore Symphony & National Symphony)
  • Kennedy Center private tour
  • Our Lifetime Achievement award recipient will be in attendance
  • The Library of Congress setting up their treasures just for us, including their Stradivarius collection
  • Tony Maiello will do the conductors clinic (he is AMAZING!)
  • our guest student orchestras will have 8 masterclass sessions with top DC pros and will get to mingle with each other
  • we have our 92 year old Keynote speaker, Col. Arnald D. Gabriel, GUEST CONDUCTING his old group, the USAF strings! He’s doing Capriccio Espagnol.
